Coffee grinding:
- Espresso: Fine
- Drip or Pour Over: Medium
- French Press: Course
For amounts, here are some great starting points (use a bit more for stronger coffee):
- Drip or Pour Over: 1 to 1.5 Tbsp. of medium ground coffee per 6 oz of water. (For stronger coffee, use 2 Tbsp.)
- French Press: About 8 Tbsp. coarse ground coffee for an 8-cup French press.
- Espresso: 2 to 3 Tbsp. fine ground coffee per double shot basket.
